Our Aims

  • To enable all young people in Oxfordshire to have access and entitlement to an outdoor education experience during full time education.
  • To provide a service which will help individuals to achieve their potential in academic and personal development.
  • To provide stimulating and challenging learning environments, including residential opportunities, in which individuals are secure, valued, learn effectively and co-operate with others.
  • To support individuals in raising their self-esteem building self-confidence, developing initiative and enterprise and encouraging the awareness and respect for self and others.
  • To enable and support individuals to develop knowledge, skills, ideas and understanding through a range of appropriate outdoor education experiences.
  • To facilitate the active involvement of individuals in evaluating their progress through reflection and review.
  • To provide high quality teaching and learning resources specific to the needs of individuals and groups.
  • To provide a curriculum which is broad, relevant, balanced, challenging and meets the needs of schools, young people and the wider Oxfordshire community.
  • To provide relevant outdoor education health and safety advice and support for individuals and groups within Oxfordshire.
