Kilvrough Experience
The Kilvrough experience will:
- develop the skills of learning, especially the sequence of listening, understanding and applying.
- demonstrate the relevance and application of school work to the outside world.
- encourage the broadening of thought across school subject boundaries.
- develop a pleasure in learning and enjoyment by direct experience.
- contribute to understanding both within the curriculum and beyond the structure of school.
- promote an understanding of wild life, natural systems and the human impact on them, in a variety of environments and landscapes.
- develop self- knowledge, self-reliance and confidence.
Team work, interdependence and awareness of others will be a vital component of every course, all of which will ensure that each week will be an enjoyable and memorable experience for each individual.
