Kilvrough Manor’s challenging and balanced programmes offer young people the opportunity to live and work together as a team , increase confidence through challenge and success and gain a positive sense of both personal and group achievement.
Many elements of the National Curriculum will be fulfilled and materials can be provided to record the progress of individual personal progress and development.
The Centre has a long -standing tradition for delivering high quality courses.
We are able to offer a flexible and innovative approach to constructing courses and programmes for schools and other groups, which support and extend beyond the National Curriculum. The courses are also able to contribute to the criteria and initiatives contained within numerous government schemes.
The centre is very flexible and will design courses based on client needs and requirements. Where required, courses of different duration can also be accommodated, as well as weekend courses. The centre offers a range of adventure activities, geography, biology, environmental education and We also offer specialist revision and study support courses, which can complement work already undertaken by schools. You will be given the opportunity to identify specific course aims once your booking has been confirmed.
The residential experience particularly emphasises the values of self, relationships, society and the environment as well as the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of young people. It focuses on and supports schools with the wider issues of PSHE and Citizenship and provides opportunities to reflect and evaluate personal learning.
